Polo FX was started in March 2007 by Mark Patterson. Mark Patterson has come from a background in music video visual effects, advertising animation and teaching at degree level.

Mark drew together a close team of talented individuals that he had met on previous freelance work to create a low cost, high quality visual effects production company.

Clients to date have included the BBC, British and American musicians, healthcare companies, banks, several manufacturers and even the ministry of defense.
